Pavlov's Dawgs (Razing your children)
First off, its a good poem, no doubt about that.
BUT off that subject...
This generation... if you want to talk about this generation then talk to this generation.

quote:
Morals are not taught ... Children are worshiped like Idols nowadays, you cant whip them you have to cater to them ...

I realize that this is a bit of emotional exaggeration(at least i hope so) but I just cant believe anyone ever thought that the neanderthal tactic of whipping children to discipline them was a good idea. How anyone could hit their own child is beyond me. There are less harmful and more effective ways to teach right from wrong. You obviously know enough about psychology to know about Pavlov so i'm guessing you should know what i mean. And another thing, you're taking music and applying it to how children are raised these days - its been done. Elvis...the Beatles...Zepplin...Floyd...KISS...Ozzy...etc. And now you say its gone to far, that line in the sand has been trompled and crossed so much i'm surprized it keeps getting redrawn. But try if you must, i guess its only human nature to do so.

Just simply brillant...and very thought provoking!
The music industry formats their buyers..it's amazing the influence they can have over the children. If it was a positive message I wouldn't mind but sometimes I find that they cross the line...
Maybe I am just getting old....but I don't fancy seeing my 15 year old son acting like a gansta' along with the attitude and all that!
Money don't make me so broke can't break me.

Hello, Gordy.
Just the right write to illustrate havehas laws. It's lovely to read you, again.

Pavlov’s Gods
I had always been interested
in Pavlov’s dogs, it was my first true
awareness of forcing behavior
upon a dog, a species, another,
in the manner of Godhead.
Users, in pursuit of relativity,
perform experiments, atrocities,
we think, we feel, we know
are wrong.
Pavlov, to prove a point, a hypothesis,
a reason for being cognizant,
trained a reaction to an action
in a dog’s brain.
Seekers, in pursuit of relativity,
abstain from intruding irresponsibility,
knowing, thinking, feeling respect
and patience are right.
I haven’t always practiced
what I know and feel. Instead,
I’ve salivated with the rest
of the dogs, but, I’m learning, knowing,
full-circle, We are Pavlov’s gods.

I found it an interesting point of perspective the first site listed uses the words 'meat powder' as opposed to the second site's 'when fed' as I researched and refreshed my memory of Pavlov. There is a distinct difference in connotation of this aspect of Pavlov's experiment, producing, in effect, a difference in 'translated understanding'. It makes me ponder the validity, again, of all written histories, religious manuals and dissertations of truth.
Someone wonders what happened to Pavlov's dogs after his experiments at the third site listed. The last is a poem of haunting quality and tearing perplexity of so-called 'human nature' in relation to 'dog nature'. There are other experiments going on as I type which have much more devastating and cruel affects on its victims of choice.
In a way, the world is a laboratory of morality with humanity as the victims, whether divinely designed, or not.
