where whispers rise

into the evening

passion found

within revelations

moonlight floats into silence

permeated within that solitude

fusion vibrated

into that moment

scattered into a secret breeze

celebrations made

where light overwhelmes one

in the unexpected places

a simple richness

that simply blesses everyone

in that one corner

no one thinks about

yet encompasses one's life

yer reaches into places

that most take for granted

but it matters not

only that it's done

and within that future

those blessings continue

reaching honor within the heart

down on the river

exploring what there is

looking over the banks

looking at the water

and where it pools

where it rests

finding the under currents

seeing how deep it is

where the embankments are

possible places

where one might catch a fish

looking for the channels

and inlets that exist

looking for the incoming creeks

where the minnows come in and out

testing the slope of the bank

just in case one has to step in

looking where the current flows

to fish with the water

instead of against it

in doing so you'll prevent

hanging up

typical ways of looking over

new water

that one hasn't fished

as of yet

listen to the warm

of a heart

where memories rise

within those golden times

held in the distant past

those lineaments of desire

touch in those moments

within the hour

where that excitement

rises like a beast

exploding passion

where two hearts meet

lips touch

and the evening continues

into the dawn

within that rhythm

in flight

where wings spread

soaring into the clouds

where freedom is found

reflections in the sky

seasons in the sun

journeys made

within the wind

carrying one into places unknown

traveling within and without

where in that memory

the twilight smiles

letting one know

it's simply enough

do I have regrets

within my own lifetime?

there are things that I would like to change

but in doing so

the lessons learned would be lost

in the wind

sometimes in life

we all must go through things

revealing apart of ourselves

simply to be gained

and in doing so

we find those parts

we need

to make us what we are

we carry scars

within that patchwork

which uncovers secrets

hidden in the shadows

echoes within the wind

revealing

who we are

which drips within your eyes

those smiles which reach

deep into the soul

where the flavor seeps

into the make up of the heart

where the thought

of you

finds that completion

that satisfies

a simple need

of you and me

together

cosmic words

that race through one's mind

at the speed of light

like a comet

flowing through space

touching the tip

of universes unknown

following the path

of some revolving explorer

seeing things unimaginable

yet showing one

what could be

if we only would

open our eyes

and see those possibilities

that are right

in front of us

use that imagination

and simply dream

beneath that certain light

reveals those illusions

hidden in the dark

where images smile with ill intent

one can hear the chuckles

behind the blind

where chaos finds a foothold

unexpectedly

and plans its strategy

one move at a time

cautiously

knowing what's at stake

finding its victims

within the hourglass

where sand trickles

a little at a time

where if one looks at it

they can see

that time is running out

and all one has to do

is simply look

clouds roll in

slowly the seasons are changing

yes it's that time of the year

where leaves fall

the weather gets colder

and the rain begins to fall

days get shorter

and another year is down the road

you wonder...

where did time go?

as life passes you by

we are never guaranteed

another day

so you take it by the reigns

and live life

as joyful as you can

for tomorrow

may never come

the straight howl

within the winter

where the gathering

finds it's place

come...

let's find a hunt

as the howl grows louder

reminding everyone

that the wild is coming to call

we are strong

and the pack will survive

within these mountains

listen to the echoes

of our cries

we are one

drums beating

in the distance

war is coming to be

and yet we can't see

what's right in front of us

yea we're pushing the pain

here comes the falling rain

tears fall

yet there's no escape

and for what?

shadows fall in the distance

the truth that bites someone

when they least expect it

yet nothing is done

it's that simple

open your eyes and see

invisible

when it simply suits you

yet the wisdom

falls on deaf ears

the spirits are calling

touching those places

that make some uncomfortable

the kind

that raises the hair

on the back of your neck

you know

that someone's there

you just can't see them

but why?

what could they want?

could it be

something

that they are trying to show you

or warn you about?

regardless

keep your eyes

wide open

and simply be aware

to touch that journey

where one follows their path

wherever it may lead

through times that touch

those simple times

that anyone can see

all one has to do is look

but make your own judgements

with an open mind

doesn't bother me

what you find

I am who I am

nothing more

nothing less

it's as simple as that

and let's go from there

I don't know what it means

confusion touches deeply

runs through my brain

leaving me

befuddled

as I scratch my head

trying to figure this out

yet...

I see no answer

to the question

that has been laid

at my feet

as I look at myself

pondering

at what's going on

still...
