Darkened Cloud

Post by Eric » Fri Aug 21, 2015 10:25 pm

I'm lost in this confusing,
I feel I'm losing with my thought
So tired of the abusing,
I need to get what I have sought
Digging deeper stiring cries,
On which this cloud has turned
To cover me and block the skies
I feel it deep inside me burned
Passing over flicking hope,
but so fast I lose all sight
I thought this was a sliding slope
But this has just been my night
Reaching out I felt a breeze,
Not sure which way to fall
I continue on, it hurts my knees
Won't someone hear my call

Sometimes those who hear the cries are strangers, and somehow also the easiest to talk to. Well written!
