Wow,...how did I miss this oldie? Very lyrical piece my friend. Lovely meter, thoughts well expressed, good use of rhyme. Normally, you've written in more of a free verse type of style. Haven't you?

I would have given Eternum one of those bages!
sticks and stones are hard on bones
aimed with angry art,
words can sting like all things
but it's silence that breaks the heart

Beautiful lyrics which only a poet can write! Don't know how I missed it except that I don't often look in this forum not being particularly spiritual which I admit is often my loss. :book:

A bagel or a badge?

If it's a bagel, can I have with cold smoked salmon and some cream cheese?

If you understand beauty then you are as spiritual as anyone...in my estimation.

I just put a sixer of shmeer in the fridge and replaced the bagels with some rolls and cold smoked lox along with some local made cream cheese, Also some thin sliced prosciutto ham to wrap the fresh cooked shrimp in and some California avocado sushi rolls and a big fat dill pickle for a chaser.
