Wouldn't be the same if you weren't, Bagsy. You're like the Irish Uncle who is always willing to let the kids sneak a few sips of beer.

Re: Who all is still here?
It's a poor sort of memory that only works backward said the Queen in Wonderland.
I tend to agree as the future is possibly much more memorable.
I see no one down the road, said Alice. Ïsn't that remarkable, said the King, "to see no one and at that distance too".
The non linear logic of Lewis Carroll and Einstein agree, I'm still here and always will be.

It's funny, but maybe once a year I think, "Hmmm. I wonder if Poetry Pages is still up.". Then I check, and sure enough not only is it still here, but generally someone has just posted a thread like this one! Ha ha. Maybe my subconscious hears the question and comes to answer. I am sort of here, meaning not really but I would like to be. We are about to move to a new country; attempt a lifestyle with a slower pace. I feel my fingers itching to write poetry again! Perhaps in our new environment I will make the time. Hope everyone is well; likely no one remembers me. ha ha. best, s.

Re: Who all is still here?
By coincidence I was just having a glass of Harveys Bristol Creme an hour ago while my dinner guest enjoyed his glass plus a aromatic Cuban cigar. 4 years this month since I quit smoking (had to according to Dr Hackenbush).
So here I am visiting the poetry pages while he puffs away under the curious observation of several quail and our resident white tails.
Fortunately, I am not like Samual Clemens, who could only find his muse in large clouds of cigar smoke. My muse is and always has been female by disposition. She can handle anything except being ignored.
All this is, I suppose a gentle but trivial reminder that despite the odds, I am also, still here.

Re: Who all is still here?
Lol. Yea, I knew he smoked em. I will either smoke the Partagas #4 or if I'm feeling ballsy and it's a celebration (meaning I feel like celebrating anything that includes surviving another day of b.s.) I'll smoke the Boivar Royal Corona. Which is actually pretty good. Problem is I have to smoke them on the back porch or else my mom complains about the smell. She quit smoking cigarettes about four years ago and still gets cranky about me smoking cigars in the house. She doesn't mind certain ones I smoke but she can't stand the Royal Corona. The smell bothers her for some reason. I get a box of them every year as a christmas present from a dear friend. They do tend to last me a year until christmas time rolls around. I also have a couple of diamond crown maximus #4s that were given to me by one of my friend's uncles who collects cigars but I'm waiting until the end of the world to light those babies up.

So far I've been quite disappointed with most of the delicacies I've experienced in life. Cavier just tasted like salty fish eggs to me. Sherry more like diluted Listerine. Haven't tried Escargot yet,...although they do smell pretty good for dead snails.
