Ten Year Members

Hello All, You know I've seen quite a bit of mention of Ten Years lately here and over at that face booky thing. My good friend Heinzs brought it up the other day in regard to a post I made on another site 10 years ago. Ten years is a long time for a group of people to be together. I know that there are many of us that fall into that category or come close to it. Well I'd like to give a digital hand shake, a big hug and a kiss to you all. I'd also like to pin this imaginary 10 year membership pin on your lapel. (THAT"S NOT MY LAPEL ) Sorry bags Seriously I think this is a "Big F*&king Deal" to qoute the Vice President. Take Care

OMG.....OMG.......10 year member here and I didn't even realize it.....Wow. How time has flown... those are happy tears by the way. I am amazed!!!

Well if there was you would be on it. I suppose I could work on making one. I'd rather wait until someone knowledgable informs me of an easy way to do it. Do you know of an easy way to do it?

Our posts crisscrossed Nef. I just went to the member file and it's actually quite easy there is less than forty members wth ten years as of today. Gordy being April 18, 2002 and back. I think he is 37. There is some weirdo named Berlie listed as # 1 does anybody know who that is? Well I'm going to leave this subject be until someone with some knowledge stops by. I've worn so many labels in my life,...what's one more. Happy 10 years + everyone. It is quite an accomplishment considering the transient nature of modern communication. Completely impersonal. Hard to involve anyone in a discussion, on almost any subject, that last more than 5 minutes. No wonder poetry is being phased out of popular culture, as completely irrelavent. Behold! The New World Order! In a way I'm glad I'm an old codger now. Just hope I don't have to witness society's complete disintigration before I die.

Yep. It tells you under your name when you joined. Also if you click on the "members" tab it will give you a list sorted by joined date. Note that most of the older members have not logged in for some years, so the active 10-year members are closer to a dozen or so. I may make you all into "founders"... lol. But then you'd all be administrators...

It is amazing that some of us have been able hang in with Poetry Pages for 10 yrs or longer. I like this milestone. Maybe we can do another 10? To infinity and beyond........to quote...
