Thank you my friend
I must decline
Now poets arn't
suppose to rhyme
And meter's rarely
mentioned by
most readers, who can't
improvise
Perusing poems
in their spare time
Critiquing verse
without a spine

Second for Bags! Decline all you want, we don't need your grumpy acceptance to nominate and name a Winner! Muhahahaha.
It is well deserved though. You have posted quite a few little morsels of awesome over the past year or so. More so than probably most other years. You find a renewed muse in life?

Thanks for the support Terry. Personally,..... I think our brother Heinz deserves whatever he can get from PP,...due to his unfailing loyalty to the site, his patience with all the poets here,...his encouragement to everyone (whether they deserve it or not), and his poems are pretty good too.

I'm going to throw in a third nomination for bags 123. Gerry, As I think back to our first encounters here at the Pages. I can only think of a handful of Poets who have dedicated themselves to mastering the creative Art of Poetry. You have unwavered in your continued support of the Art, the Pages and your fellow Poets. You are one of the Poets that has in my mind held the Pages together like glue. No matter how long I'm away when I return you are here to greet me. Once you even showed up at my front door. So accept the Nomination! You've worked hard (as Thief says for the last year or so

) Take Care MY Friend
Take me back, so far back, adjust this fate. Afeared lately of pen, in abscence of light. The fear I might stumble upon a plagiarized soul. Wipe this dark slate clean, regain my thought. Add the words that rekindle my depth of soul.
From: Summers Discontent 7-24-02
Sincerely

Michael,....you and Terry are just voting for me because you're Irish. Ivor's a Scot,...or so I'm assuming. The Scots are really just Irish who travelled a bit further east,...so it's no wonder he turned out to be such an extrodinary gentleman, like you both. Slainte

I've been feeling contradictory lately.

Sounds normal to me!
So, as you are being contradictory....you are now Poetry Pages Poet of the Month for March, 2011.

There are many fitting titles out there,...and I've been called quite a few.
