for my daughter

Post by Mystified » Sun Apr 04, 2010 11:31 am

I gazed up to the night sky
and wished upon a star
everynight I dreamt of you
wondering where you are

two years ago my wish came true
God blessed me from above
You grew within my womb
filled me with such love

I saw your cherub face
your little hands and feet
I felt within your chest
your tender heart did beat

the months flew by in such a blur
each moment etched in time
knowing that forever
you will always be mine

I will love you till the day I die
hold you in my heart
my sweet precious girl
I loved you from the start

That is such a beautiful poem. I hope you let your daughter read it someday
