tear

[Mystified]

it was building for so long
reacting to her
the emotions grew
swelled to a peak

each thought gave it
more momentum
she allowed just one
and it fell

slowly
it ran out
down the slope
of her nose
it glided with ease
across her cheek

as fast as it appeared
it was gone
one swipe
now it rests
forever more
upon anothers hand
within her lovers
heart
