"Hark!"

Post by Tom Watson » Thu Nov 27, 2008 11:50 am

“Hark” the herald angels sing,
Rippling the moon’s beams as bells ring
And all the light of heaven’s stars coalesce
And the little village of Bethlehem is blessed
And the vision shimmers in my mind, reminiscent
Of the brightness I felt as a prelude to my ascent
When the spirit entered me, without an innuendo
But the promise of hope and more to show.

My heart is swinging on the star
That shone over the lonely stable stall;
Twisting in the quiet storm of praising gospel,
Holding me in its center of gravity with heaven’s pull
Recreating me not with a design of a decade,
But in eternity’s promise of hope and love as prophets said
Where the pleasure principle is built upon faith
And felt through the course swaddling cloth
And nurtured upon the hay in the Son God brought forth.

Strong words. My suggested phrases fit neatly into your piece. Thanks a million for posting.

Thanks Heinz.

Floetry, floetic innovator, thank you. And thanks also for your willingness to step up and present your usual worthy challenge. I was hoping to see an entry from you also, but all is well for the part you played.
