RESURRECTION OF THE DEPRESSION

RESURRECTION OF THE DEPRESSION

Set this room on fire.
Get me away from what's going on outside.
I want no part
in the destruction of man.
Never wanted to be in the middle.
But like everyone else
that's where I ended.
I didn't ask for this
but then again I highly doubt anyone did.
The Depression seems to be making
a second go around,
as our kings fight amongst each other.
Over everyone and everything.
And God,
where did we go wrong?
What did we do
to deserve something like this?
Will we truly survive
or will we end up like our ancestors.
Nothing more than dust
and a mere few pages in a history book.
It's the resurrection of the Depression.
And mankind has fallen.
So much for our nation.

we all want this.. to not be part of what is going on.. and perhaps that is the root of the problem. Human laziness and general lack of responsibility. It's natural. :2cents:
