Powder Blown Perfection

Post by JGarrison » Sun Dec 21, 2008 9:14 pm

wintery one for you guys :)

Powder Blown Perfection

The warmth inside
Decieves the silent snows
As the breeze guides them
Gently through the open window
Where they disappear
Like flakes caught on the tongues of children

While outside they band together
To embrace the trunks
Of naked elms
Giving bare bodies
A sense of grace and beauty
Underneath the soft yellow street lights

And the underbrush peeks
Through the iridescent blanket of white
Like a group of curious observers
Whispering amongst themselves in the wind
Telling stories and secrets
To those patient enough to stop and listen
In this powder blown perfection
Four floors below
My open window
“What’s in store for me in the direction I don’t take?”

Pretty nice read, as I huddle over my keyboard in a tightly wrap blanket... BECAUSE IT WON"T QUIT SNOWING!!! :darn:
The wheels of time
how ever slow
speeds up
as we grow

So much be said
