Milestones along the path
some noticed
most passed by in the fog
to be pined for later.
Fading snapshots
of a not unusual life
on the bottom shelf
to collect dust.
Together still
beyond the game's halftime --
perseverant or stubborn --
holding on to the good
and letting the rest go.
The answer to Tevye's question
is "yes" on all counts.
The future is yet ours
to discover.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!

36 is 9X4.......biblically (from what I've been taught) that is completely complete on earth.

Beautiful poem. Tender, seasoned, nostalgic, and hopeful. I had to look up Teyve's query. Ha! Brought me a smile.
