Richard was a true gentleman and an artist. Our world is diminished by his passing.

My condolences to Richard Taylor's family and friends.
Anyone can be passionate, but it takes real lovers to be silly.

Of course, I never knew Richard on the boards....but have now read some of his poetry.

Condolences to his family.

I'll always remember what someone once told us when one of our family members died: "Laugh hard, cry hard, and remember the good time."

To Richard and his family.... peace.

Richard...

I will miss you. Thank you so much for your every read, your every word of encouragement ... your every critique and your every praise.

Rest easy. Shake all the poets' hand who await and greet you.

Later my friend,

.jeanne.

.........all to Richard's family and close friends, my deepest sympathies.
Many blessings to you during this time of sadness.
... and his words purge up and outward,
expelled and onward through desert dust swallowed,
sands he says that gorge on simple sensibilities.
And, now he spits fragments, grit, extended vowels and elongated syllables
over cracked lips. Their sounds fall
piling round his boots…

I am very very sad to have read this news.

Richard used to post some of his poetry on a forum board where I am an admin. (It is not a Poetry board, but has a poetry forum.)
Richard was a well liked and respected poster on our site. He posted a great deal of very helpful information to our other poets, and was always kind and considerate.
I have taken the liberty of posting parts of some of your posts in this thread on our site.(Naturally if that is objected to, I will remove them).

He will be greatly missed by all of us.

At least the pain has stopped.

He was a fine man if I ever met one, and an excellent poet.

Wow, Richard passed. I'm sorry to hear that. Whoa. :darn: He was provably the best critiquing member we had. He was always willing to help me improve whatever material I asked him too. Whoa, this is a total shock to me.

I did not know him. I knew now his poetry. His thoughts will now become mine and everybody else who reads it. In it he lives. Peace be with you my friend.____BeeJay
