Rings of Solitude....written by BeeJay

Flung into the circle
I travel in time
To that moment of bliss
In the lap of a mother’s rhyme.

A lullaby sung in tiredness
Have since been blown by winds of time
How was I to know, I must gather
Memories lost in the lines of rhyme.

Frail is memories journey
The face an unclear image
Why was she taken away
And I left, to cling, to memory’s vines.

The pyre and I stare into the receding past
Yet others stand shuffling nearby;
What memories reside, I fear
Will float away with the evening tide.

hey, thanks again to all of you who came in to visit during October! :grin: now that November has arrived, come on back even more! :hello: :grin:
