moonflowers highlights February 09

Post by moonflower » Tue Mar 03, 2009 11:52 pm

hi everyone :hello: well there were only 5 postings for the month of February..everyone must be having a really busy time like me.. thank you to those of you who stopped in..well this is the one in the spotlight...

Industry's Legacy.....written by snorple

A valley of waste remnants
old rubble, cut stones
stare, unthinking bare

Blue grey slate lying
In massive spoil pits, a lost
heritage, shameful

Cardiff Bay bare mud
banks stink, sewage and seaweed
Lone grey gull ponders

A mountain of machinery rusts
Intricate steel gathers dust
Good men watch and rot

Time slips like Dali’s
clock, tic toc, the Senydd too
Impotent, Wenglish

thanks again everyone! Spring is almost here so come back often and write us a poem about it!.. :hello:
inside each soul there is music...let the music play..
