Roleplay Rules and Guidelines
Roleplay Rules and Guidelines
1. When creating a role-play story you need to give it some name to stand out. Not just “Role Play”. That way people can find the right one quickly when posting. Preface your title with the word "Roleplay:" to differentiate it from a story or an epic poem.
2. As the creator of the role-play stories, you should set the place and time of the story and give a description of what you are trying for plot wise.
3. Always make your first post with the rules and directions only, do not post the opening of the story on the same post. That way when it is finished we can create a title page using that first post and an introduction page where if you wish we can list the characters and their little bios.
4. When a story is complete, please post a final reply saying so, if you do not wish to recieve comments on the story then you can ask The Quiet Poet, thief of dreams or Tom Watson to LOCK the thread...
A side note to that.. if for some reason you see that a story has been finished and decide you need to post an addition to it, that post will be removed and deleted if so asked by the original authors of the story.
Story posting Rules and Guidelines
1. Before you begin a chapter or an entry to the story you should post a short reply to the story saying that you are working/posting. That way no one will post over you and spin the story away from what you had planned.
2. Remember that these are collaborated stories and that if you don’t want things to slip from your control then you should just write a story by yourself. Because like it or not, something wont go your way. I know. Hehe. So do not get upset and retaliate against the flow of the story. Feel free to pm (private message) whoever caused you grief but be civil. Or at least try to be. Work it out, or get out.
3. If for some reason you feel the need to kill off another authors character (PK'ing) you will be banned from the forum, tortured with barbed wire handcuffs and leg irons and slowly drowned in two inches of muddy cow urine.
Note: if you think of anything that should be added let The Quiet Poet, thief of dreams or Tom Watson know.
