Uncentering

I want to uncenter some topics within the body of my poetry vault.

I have what I want centered within the centering codes. It would seem after the last code </center> the text should uncenter and then if I type the codes again should center what I later want centered? But me can't get it to comply.

Any help?

Code: Select all

 <center>
will always begin a centering. That will not end until you put in a

Code: Select all

 </center>
everything after that will be left justified until you repeat the process.

uugh.....shrink......

Well, I did that....and it isn't complying. :darn: :oops:

It's in my vault under the section about "Beyond Survival...."

I'm sorry for my ineptness. It bothers me to have to ask for help. It's not like you get a raise in pay every time you help me out with my puter techlessness.

You can send me an invoice!!! :mrgreen:

I checked out your archive and I don't see any of the end codes

Code: Select all

</center>
anywhere in the text. Tell me what sections you want uncentered.

I want the section about Beyond Survival uncentered.

On my puter I show </center> right before that section.

Hmmm.....after the dotted separating line.

Maybe I have too close to the separating line.

After the poem "Paths and Surrender."

Then uncenter "Beyond Survival....snippet" stuff.

Then center again starting the next section, I think it begins with "ode to email."

I had to beat it over the head to make it work...

Note my reply to your archive thread. I think the last three items are truncated off and need to be recreated in a "reply". Oddly enough there is a total character (or perhaps line count) limit for a single post and your archive exceeds that.
