~Ravyn's Impression~

~ Ravyn's Impression~

For one brief moment
The Ravyn perched upon my shoulder,
And paused with me in a shadow
That lay across both our paths . . .
Contemplating the view
Behind us and to that which lay ahead.
Just a single footfall of my time
To be released to the wind,
And remembered for the gentle
Brush of her feathers against my tears.

Thank you again Jenn.

... and his words purge up and outward,
expelled and onward through desert dust swallowed,
sands he says that gorge on simple sensibilities.
And, now he spits fragments, grit, extended vowels and elongated syllables
over cracked lips. Their sounds fall
piling round his boots…

This is a great poem. I don't think you could pay a better tribute to anyone.
~*-Don't try so hard, the best things come when you least expect them to.-*~
~*-Who do you turn too when the only one who can dry your tears is the one who made you cry-*~~*-Why does a rose represent love, when a rose always dies?-*~
~*-Never regret something that once made you smile-*~
~*-In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends-*~~*-Live today, fight tomrrow-*~

this is a very beautiful tribute Jeanne and also so true of who she is... seemingly always quiet yet when she does engage in conversation it can be the most heart felt conversation a person can ever share...

Thank you Heinz........

You know Jenn's spirit is felt here ... everyday........

A tribute that made my heart leap...and want to cry...

you are so beautiful a human being dear Jean..what a heart you have...and what a lovely talent...

She is at rest now... her memory will live forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her...

Current events have forced one's silence to the forefront if only to the one who remains silent.

I am thankful to those who have the courage to speak beyond a trusted circle of confidence ...

sands he says that gorge on simple sensibilities.
And, now he spits fragments, grit, extended vowels and elongated syllables
over cracked lips. Their sounds fall
piling round his boots…

Silence is one of the strongest forces in Nature. It is nondiscriminatory, creating both positive and negative results.
