Never have had vivid recall of my dreams and I am way too lazy to get up and write anything down. I've always just remembered a snippet or a passing thought or simply that I know I was dreaming ...

Oh well ...

:)
... and his words purge up and outward,
expelled and onward through desert dust swallowed,
sands he says that gorge on simple sensibilities.
And, now he spits fragments, grit, extended vowels and elongated syllables
over cracked lips. Their sounds fall
piling round his boots…

Hello Chancellor Gillian, Long Time no Type :hello: Yep! Them pesky legit drugs are a double edge sword. The legit ones are a major problem, if they were recreational a person could do with out them. As far as your dream comment, I think a lot of great things are born in our dreams. Success is the ability to bring or turn our dreams into reality. Take Care
Take me back, so far back, adjust this fate. Afeared lately of pen, in abscence of light. The fear I might stumble upon a plagiarized soul. Wipe this dark slate clean, regain my thought. Add the words that rekindle my depth of soul.

Hello jeannerene, Our posts somehow crisscrossed. That's how I am now just too old and slow to get up and start writing. Although back in the day that's exactly what I would do at times. Hop out of bed and start writing like a banshee in the middle of the night. That was the beginning of "The Earth The Son and The Moon" Take Care

Hello Gillian and All, I did not realize I had such a big anniversary come to pass, 12 years hanging around here at the Pages. It's been a wonderful 12 years spent with some very artistic creative and caring souls.
To answer your question on my health. I'm probably doing better now than I've been doing over the past 12 years. I've gone more than a year with out any surgeries or hospitalizations. Considering having 13 major surgeries since 2001 that's a good thing. In fact The Pages and the Pages Poets have been a constant for me through out the entire ordeal. The Opiods and other drugs over these years have dulled and continue to dull my sense's. So for the most part I find myself only capable of hanging out in "Open Discussions and Members Page". I'll read poetry but will rarely post a critique. There will be a rare circumstance when I'm having an all lights on bright moment and comment. If you understood what it just took to write that sentence then you would understand completely what I'm writing about. (This is your brain/ This is your brain on drugs/Splat) Morphine, Fentynal, Baclofen, Gabapentin, Topiramate, I had a muscle spasm last week that was so bad it broke one of my toes. Going to the Pain Doc Thurs for a med change because of that episode. So there is no hope of getting rid of these mind altering drugs anytime soon. Like I said Gillian I'm doing better now than I have in many years. Now on to what's really important.
How have You been? How has life been treating you?

Sorry to hear that, Mikey... I have to go get tested to see I got the same blood disorder as my father because it's supposedly heredity. And if I do well screw me because it just means more visits and possible medication and having to be careful with this and that such as what to eat and what not to eat or if I cut myself I have to make sure to time the clotting of the blood. If it doesn't clot, I'd have to go the hospital.. Oh what fun.. My dad said that either my brother or I could have it. And since bro already tested negative..Yup the big old middle finger pointing my way...I mean go figure I inherited everything else from dad including his looks might as well have the damn blood disorder as well. When it rains it freaking pours.

Anyway, cripes it's been 12 years. Which means cripes my 12 years is coming up. Damn, where does the time go.

The American Legion gives a patch at various mile stones like 10, 15, 20 years of membership. We should have some sort of digital recognition of long time membership at the Pages.

The NSA probably has something in the works for unrepentant US alumni of the Poetry Pages. Think limited edition orange Gitmo jumpsuits, with glitter badges and Bush 'mission accomplished' patches. As a bonus to mark the occasion some special Punch flavored water boarding will be served along with a big helping of electric shock kidney pie.

I'm hoping we get Malaysia Airline air miles for our membership points.

Imagine Tattoo waiting on Fantasy Island for the first Malaysia Airlines Poetry Pages flight to arrive. Corinthian leather seats are installed in first class, of course, and the Pilot sings Volare when the fuel gauge hits empty. How's that for a mile stone, Cheech?

Praise the lawd MJ!

Here I thought that buzzin sound was coming from either the neighbors industrial strength sex toys or Baggsy's electric no no hair remover and hedge trimmer.

It was just natures fuzzy lil pollinator looking for some foo foo juice to whip up some honey all this time. One question. How did you know I wear bonnets when I'm in my secret room?

Hey you never know ET maybe I work part of my part time life for the NSA keep'n track of bonnet wearing types especially when they're in their secret rooms conspiring with (fuzzy little pollinators looking for some foo foo juice in order to whip up some honey). Which is code for: Hold on  I'm thinking (fuzzy little pollinators) (foo foo juice) (whip up some honey) I must be very careful wouldn't want to intercept any bad intel
