I believe it was Sun Tzu (about 400 years before JCs vicious little campaign of genocide against the Druids/ Celts), who first used the saying " ...keep your enemies closer" in his seminal work "The Art Of War". Many moons ago I won a trivial pursuit contest with this answer for extra points......the prize I won was a trip to Vancouver B.C. (I entered the contest while on vacation in Oregon and gave the tickets to a relative who had never been to the great white north).

I saw an interview with Rush once on Youtube with a really crappy camera I assumed was not the actual interview portion, but I can't seem to find it now. He was asked if he is really as Right Wing as he acts and he replied, "It isn't about Left or Right, or politics at all; I say things that make me money, plain and simple."
Love or hate the man, he won't ever have to beg for a job or worry about paying the electric bill. It's just sad that so many people buy into his shenanigans like they were gospel sang before the crucified Christ.
