The only beer I've had that's as bad as Old Milwaukee is Lone Star. Neither will even do in a pinch IMHO.

What d'ya drink up there? Old Milwaukee?
Nope, it's because we have so many micro craft breweries popping up everywhere. You should try some of G.R's craft beers. Makes the big wig beers on the market taste like piss. You should make a vacation of it. There are tours scheduled for some of these breweries and they do offer free beer. :hello:

We're seeing nano breweries spring up around here (way smaller than micro breweries , nanos produce 5 barrels or less), so the choice is becoming almost limitless I could name a dozen private labels that I relish but no one here would have heard of them. I still quaff a Heineken or a Guiness from the international mega-breweries. I have to admit I don't much care for big American labels or Mexican for that matter. I think Corona is Mexican sewer water already pissed in several times over; my verdict eat the lime and use the beer to shampoo the neighbors dog (the one that craps on your lawn).

Man O Man I at one time enjoyed a good beer from time to time. Stella Artois was my last taste eloquently served by a Barmaid in Quebec City. I remember it as if it were yesterday. We were in the old walled city: She poured the glass of draft from a beautiful porcelain tap and cut the foam flat with a knife and served it up with a beautiful smile. Morphine, Fentynal, Baclofen etc. permit from experiencing such wonders these days. It's just not the same when they're serving up H2O. Take Care

Corona has now surpassed Heinken as the number one imported beer. It's actually not as bad as you portray. In fact I kind of like Corona. A nice light brew that's not Lite Beer. Personally I think Bud Lite, Miller Lite,...and any other "lite" beers are terrible. They don't even taste like beer. Blah, and Bleech!!

When I'm in Mexico I drink Pacifico along with the locals. I do like the Dos Equis commericals although ther beer is just so so. I agree about lite beers and in particular Fosters; it is Ozzie swill not fit for swine with the morning slops; well perhaps Ozzie swine might like it.

I can't add anything interesting to the subplot of the pages, for there is nothing note worthy to share. I spent twenty minutes thinking about trying to brew my own beer, but then realized the starter kits are a hundred bucks or more so that was the end of that. I did find a cool website that lets you design your own bottle caps though and prints them with your design on them.

I didn't read all the replies.

Am I number 25?

Do I have to add something interesting? I'm rather a bore these days. Not boar, bore. :-P

Unfortunately 25 has not even been approached Carol,...and yes,...courtesy should require you to pen something interesting. Preferably something non-political. (It tends to upset Preston and ET, then they start posting links to Utubes, and graphs, and stuff)

Hey Mike: I'm currently doing a graph and pie chart illustrating the number of times some PP members grouse about graphs and comparing them to how often another unnamed member (who's name starts with a B) grumps about You Tube and Facebook. I bet the grandparents of the aforementioned anonymous contributors (the other names start with a P and a G) lamented the arrival of the horseless carriage and indoor plumbing. Fortunately you and I do not fear logic and science and apply them to our script with liberal flourish.

cogito ergo hum

Yes, pie charts and graphs are very useful items to have around here.
