Plane lands between cars on U.S. 321 after running out of fuel

"GRANITE FALLS, N.C. — A plane landed between two cars on U.S. 321, surprising two drivers near Granite Falls late Monday.

The pilot, Eric Klein, told Eyewitness News he ran out of fuel and the northbound lanes of the highway were his best option for a safe landing.

The small plane touched down between two moving cars on the highway near the Walmart just before 11 p.m.

No one was hurt, but the drivers of the cars were shocked by the turn of events. [...]"

Why is it whenever something crazy happens in the news it's either by, near or in a Walmart.

I'll see your piloted small plane and raise you an unmanned drone.

And Waffle House.

Weird as it sounds, I like Waffle House. The ones around here have really great juke box selections. Four songs for a buck.
The other night I played..hm...America, Neil Young, Cat Stevens, & Ike & Tina Turner.

Except in the sci-fi movies it was never this easy ... just wait till the battery dies.
They always had the most brilliant scientists trying to figure out how do we abort the self destruct before we all get blown to smitherweenies.

I don't ever recall a sci-fi flick in which the self destruct was ever allowed to self destruct.
Kinda make you wonder why they stick 'em in things in the first place.

I heard we were supposed to be invaded by China sometime towards the end of August. The stock market will crash like a Boeing 747 that's been hit by a rocket. Panic ensues when we can't get what we need at the local Walmart, then a huge Chinese military force, air, land and sea emerge onto the west coast, then proceed eastward. China has more enlisted in their military than the USA's entire population. There'll be a valiant struggle for awhile, but the
overwhelming strength of the Chinese blitzkrieg ensures that in 20 years time,...everyone in America will be speaking Mandarin as it's primary language.
