Hi Bags!!! :hi:

I'm doing all right. Going to enjoy a nice relaxing weekend with my boyfriend and then going to head into "running around like a chicken with my head cut off" mode starting Monday as I try to get everything done and organised before going in for surgery on the 17th.

How are you doing?

Can't say right now. I've been working on an article for a magazine about well can't say it's secret right now. Needless to say I've met some interesting characters. Also working on Poetry Familia 17. I've also had this feeling that I've been living a double life as of lately. Like there's a darker side of Saturn.. It's not Spade or any of my other muses because they're in Vegas trying to win me some cash. :hello:

Bags! Why the hell did you have to go and spoil my new year already. :crying: Like I wanted to think about how I'm doing already. For crying out loud why not wait untill at least Feb. for such nonsense  Seriously My Friend I'm fine. How are you doing?
Take me back, so far back, adjust this fate. Afeared lately of pen, in abscence of light. The fear I might stumble upon a plagiarized soul. Wipe this dark slate clean, regain my thought. Add the words that rekindle my depth of soul.

From: Summers Discontent 7-24-02

Sincerely

Hi Spaz,
Happy New Year to you and your fellow Canuckians. My thoughts are with you for a quick recovery from your planned surgery. I'm sure 2012 holds more surprises for all of us. :hello:

Do you remember an old TV series from the 60's called "The Double Life of Henry Phyffe". Starring Red Buttons. It only lasted one or two seasons. Reminds me of you. :computer: Happy New Year my Lady.

Sorry for the salutations my friend. Didn't mean nothin by it. I'm jus say'en. Ever notice how everyday language has devolved since we were young? Of course I guess we've devolved a bit ourselves haven't we? I know I have. Probably wake up one morning as a monkey if I'm lucky. I'd hate being a lower life form than a monkey. Can you imagine living life as a slug? Speaking of slugs,....I have strict orders from my doctor to severly curtail my consumption of salt. Unlike a slug, I love salt. Too bad,...one more thing I have to give up as I devolve. I'm in my third day of a smoking cessation program, again by doctors orders. I don't know who this F---ing doctor thinks he is ordering me aroung like that! Otherwise,...everything is cool. Say hi to Lucy for me. Give her my best. I still might pop in on you guys one day. Never know.

Did he threaten to dump you if you didn't do what he says ?

That's happened to several people I know who didn't want to take the drugs their doctors prescribed.
I can see how doctor's orders might be a good incentive for something like quitting smoking but in the case of the pharmaceutical disagreements ... in each case the doctor either dismissed the patients concerns regarding the efficacy or the side affects of the drug.

My own personal experience with concerns about side affects ... the doctor basically said, "If you do experience any side affects, come back and see me and I'm sure I can prescribe you a different drug for the side affects."

How do you think a "text only" poetry forum might go over? Something only requiring a short attention span. Ya know?... I'm jus say'en. :computer:
