Well caviar is salty fish eggs so what did you expect them to taste like? I've had the local sturgeon eggs and I see little reason to pay more for the Russian stuff. As far as canapes go I'll take a bit of cold smoked salmon with a little cream cheese on a cracker before I'll approach a bowl of caviar.

It's just habit that I used to have a Gran Marnier or Cointreau with after dinner coffee and/or a Sherry with a apres dinner cigar. I also sip a cognac when I feel like pretending I'm watching my sugar intake.

Variety is what I choose in both food and after dinner libations. Previously owning a pub with a hundred different flavors on hand may have something to do with a preference for not having the same drink in a row. Some people claim it would upset their digestion to mix their drinks but I am the opposite.

Did we get a Still here? Is that legal? Holy Smokes! Cuban Cigars, Escargot Bourguignon, Cordials  Yeah! I'm still here :hello:
Take me back, so far back, adjust this fate. Afeared lately of pen, in abscence of light. The fear I might stumble upon a plagiarized soul. Wipe this dark slate clean, regain my thought. Add the words that rekindle my depth of soul.

Ssh... we don't just let everyone know we have a still. The jars of fruit preserves in the pantry are actually some of the best moonshine available.

My recipe for Margaritas calls for Cointreau. I prefer it over Triple Sec. Preferably with fresh squeezed lime juice and a half teaspoon of sugar. Mmmm. Can't wait for the weekend.

The Texan still has his "set up" in the shed... As a matter of fact, can someone go out and check on him.. See if he's okay... I would but the damn roof is leaking again...

I show up every now and then just to keep things lively. I'm easily bored.

You gentle people have seen my visage periodically as I walk this plane, but don't look too closely... all is not always as it seems.

Note that there will be a lecture in October (how fitting) in Baltimore.

Don't you remember sending out the wolves? I think they finally got to whatever caves these guys (and gal) have been hiding in... lol. I guess they took your threat of the underwear gnomes seriously. Bubba has been living in the dungeon since you took the wine out of there and moved it to the big wine cellar in the basement so he was easy to find. So far no one has found the secret door to the wine cellar... that was a good idea.

If I base my expectations on past performances I suspect we may have even more prodigals coming in out of the woodwork trying to avoid the gnomes and the wolves.
