Sometimes when needed, I closed my eyes
Looked upon the darkened skies
Hoping for that brilliant light
Something to help and lift the fright
I have been so blinded "Woe is me"
Logical answers absentee
Infuriating, this madness grows,
Precipitation in these lows
Can I find the land I seek?
I find it hard, if I can't speak
Hell bent on feeling, I just may matter
Why this soul, this cold cadaver?
Fighting through these turns I take,
I swear this mind , is soon to break
Begging, screaming, take this hand
Before I walk this realm of damned

Re: Cold Cadaver
Nice use of meter. Just enough variance to keep the interest going throughout. Rhymes are not stilted or forced. Thanks Eric!
An' it harm none, do what ye will. Blessed Be.

The best a cold cadaver can do is give cold comfort!
