Imagined, refined, not looking behind
Putting away the words; I found so unkind
Trying to capture and embrace my choice
Taking this moment for me to rejoice
But what is to come in this new world I have found?
When someone else can hear me and appreciate my sound
When my breathing has steadied ... and I stand firm on my feet
I see what I must to do ... to make my life complete
The winds have died down ... the storm is not so dark
I have healed from many wounds ... yet reflect on every mark
My body bares the evidence ... my road here has been hard
I'm approachng new destinations ... I have even lowered my own guard
My minds is still eratic, displaced and all a mess
But I dont continue to do the things .. to build up my own stress
I can't say things are getting easier ... but I know that I have time
To reflect upon the pain I felt ..and learn, I am in my prime
I must contiue to keep on growing ... I have so many things I must achieve
I have been waiting for this battle ... I have rolled up both my sleeves
