Where Lies the Blame
Forests will dwindle to nothing
Flowers wither and die
Nimbus clouds drop Acid rain
Endangering you and I
Savage winds will sweep the earth,
Till nothings left but dust
The devil he will chuckle with mirth
As he looks at us with lust
Only memories they will linger
Because we didn't heed the warning
people will come and point a finger
Then blame the global warming
All will be left is barren lands
The sweet smell of rotten decay
We had it all in the palm of our hands
Then we threw it all away
Where Lies the Blame

Re: Where Lies the Blame
I've rarely considered the smell of rot and decay to be "sweet", though it fits well in this poem. Thanks for posting, buggles and welcome to the Poetry Pages.
An' it harm none, do what ye will. Blessed Be.

I'm not a poetry critic but me as a mere fellow poetry pages friend enjoyed that poem, I thought it spoke truth and volumes.
