What flower is this_
that I see,
transparent as such_
sweet spirit of beauty_.

More than
a rose itself_,
and your scent_
is from heaven's realm_.

If notes could leap_
of the page_,
like my heart leaps_
when I see your face_.

And before my eyes_
the words of love race_,
and what verse should I write_
except poetry for you each day_.

For I look yes upon_
a jewel more than the world_,
and your soul an endless song_
in the arms of an angel.
