De Ja Vu

Post by Charles Revitt » Mon Jul 25, 2011 2:37 am

Learnt to be a fighter when I could take no more.
No use being a writer getting kicked in on the floor.
Bruises heal, but scars at best just fade.
Wish I could feel a love that does not change.

Repeating patterns. Vicious circles getting smaller.
Mad shit happens. Life's a circus set to stall us.
With bible patterns and perverts. No one warned us.

It's all familiar. Saw it coming. Thoughts of me being without you.
I could kill ya! Saw you running. Memories of what is to be.
A clue in De Ja Vu.

Alarm bells ringing.... faded dreams.
Another life lost at the tip of my tongue.
Heard you singing. Faded screams, it seems
You almost always got me wrong.

Some will die in hot pursuit while sifting through my ashes.
Some will fall in love with life and drink it from a fountain that is pouring like an avalanche coming down the mountain."
