Would it be justifiable if I say Human Nature,
Yes it is human nature to want what we don’t have
We want it with all our being,
Irrespective of who it belongs to we want it,
We ignore all the ill effects nor consider the outcome,
Blindly seeking for it as if it’s our divine right.
Maybe it’s justifiable to say Human Nature,
It is in our nature to ignore what we have.
It could be a glittering diamond in your eyes,
A gold paved walkway beneath our feet,
we already have it and we will never notice it.
I pride the Humans for their nature,
When something is lost to us
We seek it with all our strength
Neither resting nor wavering,
The heavens above are no limit to our search,
Be they be in the way we will move them,
Should the gates of hell block our path,
We will knock them down and trample them.
Human nature

Re: Human nature
Good read with a clever summated ending.
Much enjoyed.
Much enjoyed.

Some of it must have happened, He thought. It can’t ALL have been a hallucination…unless this is part of it, and I’m really in one of the rubber rooms up in Cedar Rapids, wrapped in a straitjacket and only imagining I’m lying here in my own bed.

Re: Human nature
Thanx x-file it was a good write, I haven't been writting for a while and I am engaging in personal challenges to try and get the ink flowing in my veins again

Quite a piece. Like very much. Worth re-reading.
