My equal

Post by vibesmaster » Sun Jul 26, 2009 8:50 pm

I never knew for sure how I
felt about you until today
I thought, could this be my fate,
will I never be able to find my equal?
but then at one look in your eyes,
I realize that what I feel for you is
real.
Goddess of love, my feelings for you
flows like a never ending river
and the farther I swim the deeper it
gets,
until, spiritually we meet and both
our heart connect,
my heart yields at the very sound
of your voice,
and every emotion within me awakes
at the sight of your beauty.
It came to me by night in a dream once:
God above had blessed me with an angel
for a queen,
but it was not until I met you,
that I started to believe in dreams,
you are the one I long for
you are the one I wish for,
you are all that I need,
you are my equal. :hearts:

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.

Tender. Passionate. Love song. Like a warm blanket in winter....or a sweet breeze in hot summer....

This is one of those poems that makes you swallow a few times...and go back and read again. Quite a moving write. Very loving, indeed. Has that "new love" feel about it. Thanks for sharing. I loved it. Post more.
