lost in memory

Post by Tony Fiona » Sun Dec 28, 2008 12:42 pm

hounded by the memories of a
thousand broken keys
wisps of life dissolving into mist
surrounded by africanized killer bees
bloody faces
run down tears
ghostly voices
hellish shrieks
another round of Irish beers
all the while waiting by this
dusty door,
musty odor
bloody floor
whore to liberty
hounded by the memories of
a thousand broken dreams
flash
before burned up altars
painfull souls
endless screams
never ending
dying dreams
" There's a race of men that can't stay still
A race that don't fit in
They break the hearts of kith and kin
and roam the world at will. " ------------Robert Service

I feel you. I haven't had anything to write about except perhaps having nothing to write about!

i've just been feeling opressed by the day to day office work.. weekends spent staring at digital screens... the times in between hardly a refuge... memories of my goals and objectives, recognition of how far away they still are.. wondering how exactly I strayed... where i missed my chances.. if they existed at all

I guess that's a lot to write about in a fashion, but to be honest I don't know that i can appropriatly convey any of it without coming off fairly emotional. and to be honest everything is gray.
