Welcome Home

inspired by her again:  shoulod it be here...or in tribute area?

(Welcome Home)

You’ve been here
For many times, haven’t you?

Trying to show off
Your new pair of wings,
Shinier than the ones
I made you
On your birthday

You’ve been here…

Dancing in circles,
Singing loudly your creative words
As I try to fathom my own
And end up in scribbles that you,
And ONLY you,
Would think
I am a talented writer!
You miss teasing me, don’t you?

Well, as you can see…

I tried to keep everything in place,
Things the way you liked,
Your simple notes,
Your doodles,
Doctor’s prescriptions,
Contact numbers –you seem to have so many-

I had to tidy up some corners though,
Dump out the trash full of
Tear soaked tissues and broken pieces

I hope you don’t mind…

Otherwise,
It is still the same house,
The same tree where all the birds
Would love to nest,
And all the love would come out best…

You’ve been here many times
And I’ve been waiting for you…

Welcome home
Where you belong…
