Since there were only two nominations this week and both were seconded I hereby grant the July 23 Poem of the Week award to both:
Winner: Poem of the Week: July 23, 2006
Perfectly Wrong
by despicability
'...All that seems is changing
When change is all there is
And nothing seems to follow through
From deaths Immortal kiss...'
Do you hear what you are saying?
Listen to what you hear!
Where life is death, and death is gone
Then Life is filled with fear!
And I don't really belong here...
Don't feel like I belong...
And everything is perfect
But everything is wrong...
Would you listen to the answers
If the answers were in mime?
Or are those that don't involve you
Just not worth your time?
And still I wander lost, here -
Lost - have been all along.
Yet everything is perfect
And everything is wrong.
Do you think that you are perfect?
Is perfection even real?
Necessity to contemplate,
Supremecy to feel?
And the road is ever-changing
And the change is ever-long
And everything is perfect...
If perfect means it's wrong.

Silken promises
softly whispered.
Feathery kisses
lightly lingered.
Hidden desires
tenderly caressed.
Extreme ecstasies
emerge unreserved.
Velvety winds…
Passions unfamiliar
United souls,
blissfully whimper.
Fervent kisses…
unlimited frenzies,
Eternally vow
“Infinitely yours”.
Tingling wishes...
Unbearable emotions,
intertwined bodies…
Present perfect.
