Blown by the Rain

I never knew
I liked the rain

And smell of earth
From distant plains

Blown in by wind
And rainbow springs

The droplets settled
On my things

Something whispered deep inside
“Mark this day” and…

In times to come, it’ll sweep
Sadness from your side.

beautiful imagery here really entices the senses! i to love the smell of a dew or newly fallen rain, as much as i hate it(becuase the weather effects my mood and causes me to write depressing stuff) but really really nice. great work.
