The Passion Of Pain
Roses of red & kisses the same.
That night ended with unwanted shame & pain.
She said no, but he yes.
No one believed her.
So she took a test.
This one test they both did pass.
So people justed wandered around calling her a ho.
She took a sharp knife & cut all her pain & shame away.
Until she staying & laying in her own blood
asked god with her last breath why he would let this happen to

Sad write Pixie.....too often a reality.
I enjoy the title too, very apt play on words.

Re: The Passion Of Pain
It is a cruel fact of life that is difficult to put into words. You've done a good job conveying the feelings here.
An' it harm none, do what ye will. Blessed Be.

Re: The Passion Of Pain
this is true poetry. formless emotions that don't need vivid imagry because the image is conveyed in the feeling of pain. you are talented~~~
