A Song My 11 Year Old Son Wrote

Post by kimmyjean » Wed Nov 28, 2007 7:31 pm

“Well do you want results?”

“Of course cause…”

That’s what I am waiting for
That’s why I am watching TV
It’s so mysterious
When I think about it I want to scream!!!

The minutes go by
And it seems like forever
I talk to my friends
And I watch a double header

I need to get out
And I need to see the light
It gives me scare
It gives me a fright

That’s what I am waiting for
That’s why I am watching TV
It’s so mysterious
When I think about it I want to scream!!!

This time goes by
And I can’t escape
This life I have
It’s becoming my fate

It’s taking so long
And I want it to be over
I try and try
To make the problem over

That’s what I am waiting for
That’s why I am watching TV
It’s so mysterious
When I think about it I want to scream

Well they usually say daughter like mother, but in this case son like mother, your talent has certainly rubbed off on him. Very excellent poem and lyrics. It seems he has a bright future in writing.

tell your son that it was truly a wonderful write and a excellent read

i love seeing young talent

its great to know that the next generation isnt so far out of touch with the rest of humanity

i really enjoyed reading this
/My first thought was, he lied in every word,
That hoary cripple, with malicious eye
....

...... And yet
Dauntless the slug-horn to my lips I set,
And blew. ``Childe Roland to the Dark Tower came.''
