Conflicting Halves Make a Whole

Good and Evil.
Universal forces that rule all.
Neither can exist without the other,
One will always conquer the other,
But never kill.
It retreats,
Goes into hiding;
Planning its next move.
The battlefield never changes;
Yet one finds an advatage the other doesn't see.
A different one every time.
It's strategy-
Flawless.
Defense:
Inpenetrable.
Offense:
Almost mythical.
This battle wasn't always one-sided.
Morale was low,
As were supplies.
A great warrior from a far-away land arrived.
Tables turned;
Battles won.

Wasn't long till a woman of Troy came.
Her movements,
Flowing and graceful.
Yet a serpent lied deep within.
The great warrior,
Bitten by her eternal beauty,
Was no more.
His feeble mind corrupted;
Left an opportunity for the opposition.
The other side;
Stunned at their lost.
Fighting in this weakened state is useless-
Do or Die.
Now determines who will survive.
But,
In essence-
Both will survive.
It is law.
There will never be a winner;
This war is endless.
They only know one thing;
Fight-
Hope for dormancy.
