Arboretum

Poems written to lovers are like cedar trees thick with bees

Some will go where sight is beyond the small uphill rhyme
Where a dream of beauty shines clear and love leaves lines of rhyming pines

I read this over and over until i memorized it, then i recited it with my eyes closed so that i could see it in my head. i like the way your poem talks about poetry
what i got from this poem was the feeling that love poems can have any form of writing and still be just as beautiful to two lovers reading it. lovers can see poetry in the way honey drips from a spoon. anything that is beautiful is poetry to love. anyway thats how i felt about your poem. good stuff :hello:

Queen, a poem is such a personal experience that it means, and should mean, different things to readers whose perceptions are uniquely formed by singular lives. To me, the trees are the poems, the bees the words. Bees and words go where they will. Some make honey some make trouble, others may rhyme or even find unintended poems. It seems that some even find their way to the queen  .
