Into Oceans From Streams

Into Oceans From Streams

At the mouth of a river lies the sum of man's dreams.
Pouring forth raw devotion into oceans from streams.
Meandering currents from some backwater pool
converge in reunion, like old friends from High School
Flowing faster together. Turning notions to dreams.
Pouring forth in its motion into oceans from streams

I prefer to keep an open mind,....but not so much that my brains fall out.- Carl Sagan

Thanks Heinz. Hope you're doing well. At least it's not snowing where you are.

It's not snowing, but our water supply is 12% of normal. Hasn't rained in forever. They are going to enforce mandatory water rationing within the next two weeks.

Wow, that's terrible. Wish there was a way I could funnel some of the snow melt off out to California. :hello:

How about a pipeline for water? What a novel idea! The best part is that if there were a pipeline break it wouldn't pollute the surrounding area and aquafer.

Hello bags, I really like the first verse and I get lost in the second. I think the first verse is very strong all by itself. Oh! and Heinzs my friend are you saying. Our Great Lakes area waterways are Polluted with our abundance of yellow snow.
Take me back, so far back, adjust this fate. Afeared lately of pen, in abscence of light. The fear I might stumble upon a plagiarized soul. Wipe this dark slate clean, regain my thought. Add the words that rekindle my depth of soul.

Now it is way cool triple AAA material "Into Oceans From Streams" is a keeper in my book. Take Care

*chuckle* regarding the pressure Mike felt.

I just read the poem, so totally missed the 2nd verse.
I like what I read in this was-first stanza.
I think I spend lots of time at the mouth and with notions.

Funny that the comments mention water and pipelines.

That's something about the water in CA Heinz. With all the wet stuff the US is getting, I had no idea that there were any drier-than-supposed-to-be areas. Hoping you get some rain soon.
