Subjectivity: A Thank You

She broods on cycles, on creative outlets,
of Man’s need to self-proclaim,
and expound individual realities.
As it should be, in the wonder of Being.

Wonderful . . . and a touching tribute to your "poetrypages" friends.

Subjectivity: A Thank You

She shivers with anticipation,
tonight, she wants to write.
She’s been thinking, has been reminded,
how subjectivity is relative,
when it is viewed objectively.
A truism already known, in her depths.
She accepts its premise, now,
with personal cognizance,
beams with escalating gratitude
of friendly reiterations, of her poetic soul.
She broods on cycles, on creative outlets,
of Man’s need to self-proclaim,
and expound individual realities.
As it should be, in the wonder of Being.
She marvels at compassion’s strength,
its selfless, sensitive grace, its purity of form,
and its affects, on human lives.
And, she smiles, as she resumes inhaling
words multitude meanings,
breathing quickly, accruing awareness.
She allows her fingers to compose,
explaining her minds heartbeat,
communicating her thanks,
and freeing her Spirit.

Had another writers crisis, received good advice, thought of this last year and a half that I've been writing, the people I've known who've touched my heart and helped my head, been stretching and reaching, again. Thank you, my friends, for sharing your lives and thoughts with me, I am a better person for it.

I have found this site to be a growth experience bringing me from a place of desperate darkness back to one of light and hope. I feel positively attached to each and every one of the poets here... like I have seen your souls and shown you mine. Erin, your piece expresses that so well.

Beautifully done Erin. In the year and a half or so I've been coming here, its become a habit. And a good one at that. (Unlike some of my other habits LOL). Thank you,.. and all the other souls who display their words on this site. It's been a wonderful experience to connect.

I am glad you shared this. Being here has been one of the few positive things in my life so far, and I feel like everyone here deserves at least a little praise for being courageous enough to bare their souls through their words. I am glad to have met you, Erin! And this is a beautiful tribute.

Many blessings,

I pray we may all do just that! And in good health, to boot!
