Waterdrop

Post by soloIQ » Mon Feb 27, 2012 4:32 pm

Hello waterdrop
on the roam
must be searching
for your home

Move out waterdrop
through a pipe
down the drain
safe from wipe

Press on waterdrop
heats no fun
Don't get left
in the sun

Brave little waterdrop
Lost some weight
almost there
past that gate

Goodbye waterdrop
found the sea
slip on in
cease to be.

Yes! I agree with Debbie, keep those wonderfully sensitive poems coming. Anybody that can identify with the plight of a single waterdrop is my type of person. And I believe the poem is deeper than that. When it joins the sea and ceases to be, like all of us, after death, we are greater than we once were because we are with our Master.
