I'm Gone

Post by hockeychickkayla » Sun Oct 31, 2010 7:27 pm

I sit at home
I'm all alone
I brace myself
For her screaming tone
No one hears my cry
My eyes are shut
In my world I'll fly
I escape another cut

I walk outside
I try to hide
So far away
In my little world
All these pains
I break inside
My energy drains
It's like I have almost died

Take me away
I can't bear to stay
I want to live my life
And marry my wife
No more holding me back
I'll get my bags and pack
To you I'll shout
I'm gone, I'm out

I starve myself
You don't notice
All I own is on a shelf
Hidden in the dark
Now I don't exist
Not in your life
I'm not even missed
My best friend is a knife

To you I'll say
You're not my mom
For you I'll pray
But my face I'll palm
Yes I do love you
Please just pull through
I'll hold on so tight
Just to get through the night

Take me away
I can't bear to stay
I want to live my life
And marry my wife
No more holding me back
I'll get my bags and pack
To you I'll shout
I'm gone, I'm out

I'm far away
All by myself
Nothing to say
To you from now on
No more you
It's for the best
But I've pulled through
I've finally left your nest
