You Hate Me But I Love You

Post by hockeychickkayla » Wed Aug 04, 2010 7:07 pm

I'd like to say you cared for me
But it would be a lie
It wasn't long 'til I could see
You wished that I would die
I'm a person you ultimately fear
You just push me away
You harshly whisper in my ear
"God hates you cause you're gay!"
You say I'm sick and need a cure
You said it's something I can fix
I go through the worst pain to endure
You're all a bunch of pricks
It kills me how much you can hate
You hide behind false truths
All you seem to do is discriminate
And say it's a phase from my youth
You beat me up and tear me down
Using harse falsifying quotes
You laugh at me like a teasing clown
As you squeeze my throat
I know you won't accept it, but you're my grandma and I love you
I know you're not easy to please
I try and try everyday to pull through
I believe in God and I'm gay, but it's not a damn disease
"I am as bad as the worst, but, thank God, I am as good as the best." -Walt Whitman
