To an Extraordinary Cancerian

Post by Friend_forever » Tue Nov 02, 2004 11:33 pm

<center>To an extraordinary Cancerian…

The Talk I had with you in the recent present…
… Gave me ideas for a brand new present…
So this is for you
… Someone who put up with me
Through all my despair…all my misery…
All my struggles… all my pain…
Just a thank you from me…
… For being my special somebody…

You are a Cancerian
… A crab…
I am a Taurean
… A bull…
Did you know we were compatible…
…So we could be Friends_forever
So well-tuned to each other’s feelings
It’s funny… How alike we are…
… Yet so unique in our own ways…

You are such a sensitive person…
A very special woman
… In ways more than one…

Let me tell you your horoscope today…
And let me know if I am right…

You are at most times very wise
… And have a philosophical view on life

You are very imaginative
… And we can almost always find you…
…Deep within your fantasy world

You possess great Literary and artistic talents
… And that’s why you are studying fine arts
…You are a great poet by nature
… And express yourself better than any other…
… That’s why you are the queen of Poetry…
And I enjoy your company tremendously…

You are a very loyal friend…
And that’s the reason why you are a lucky find

You are quite a stubborn crab…
A moody, sulky person
… But a good human…

Don’t judge a book by its cover
… This my friend is the great cancer…
With A tough exterior…
But a very very compassionate person inside...
Yearning for a deep exchange
Of love… and understanding…
This is my cancer…
My rare find…

You give me ispiration to write
… And give me hope to continue
You are my lucky star
… My own four leaf clover…

You sweep me off my feet
… Give me wings to explore
…Drown me in the ocean of your dreams
Sweep me away with the current of your feelings…

So on this day…
In front of People of the pages
I wanted to confess…
To tell you how much I really care
… Thank you a lot
For being there.

And as I watch you in this light
I never realized your eyes were full of
So many colors.

its awesome...
one of those works that brings even the most solemn days to a little higher plane...
like sunlight that strains against old curtains, pushing little pinpricks of light through the dust and unruffled cloth that has hung for years without a curious hand to sweep it to the side...
"Thoughts are the shadows of our feelings - always darker, emptier and simpler."
Friedrich Nietzsche

<center>Thank You For The Tribute

this poem was great in so many ways
bought tears to my eyes; what a delicate praise
your words mean alot coming from thee
no one is ever this kind to me
this tribute from you; my forever friend
will always be remembered because
our friendship will never end
I'll hold this poem deep in my heart
forever and always knowing
that this bond we share will never part
Keep in mind the promise we made
every word and feeling is so true
if you are there for me i'm here for you

Your Friend Forever
