"What If"

Post by jhanke » Sun May 09, 2004 6:42 pm

If you!
Knew that I was dying,
Would you ask
when?

If you!
knew that I was crying
would you ask
why?

If I!
Told you I had a scar
would you ask
where?

If I!
Was in love with someone else......
would you be able to speak?

Mi amour de tu
my love for you
believe in it
for it will never change.....

~ I wrote a poem that was more like questions and Flo rewrote it his way and dedicated it to me, he told me to post it. the above is what he wrote.

Maybe I should of buried the butterfly instead of picking it apart.

if you want to also read the verson i wrote here it is...

If you,
could give or say
anything
to me,
what would it be?

If you
knew that
i was dying,
what would you do?

if i was
in love with,
someone else..
would you still
be able to
breathe?

if you
saw me walking
down the street,
crying
would you bother
to even ask,
why?

if you
saw a scar
on my arm..
would you ask?

if i told you
that i love you,
would you even
believe me?

~Flo, that was very sweet. Nobody has ever dedicated a poem to me. Thank you

Life is hard. . . teenage years suck. . . we all go through it eventually. It's nice to have people to talk to, relate to, go through it with.

Smile, someone's got to. . .

sticks and stones are hard on bones
aimed with angry art,
words can sting like all things
but it's silence that breaks the heart
