I sit
and stare at
the computer
the cursor just blinks
and I swear the mouse winked
yet no words come forth
to grace these keys
and so I
still sit
here

Hi Kim,that was succintly put, and I know the feeling too! (Ahem...) I don't know about the mouse winking tho, is our fearless administrator suffering from some sleep deprivation from the 18 hour vigil of the site change? agrees with this completely, but i've found that when my little mouse winks like that its code, and you wouldnt believe some of the goofy stuff it's told me, just yesterday it said buy sow bellies, gags. maybe i should. anyone around here have some sound stock advise to share?? <img border="0" alt="[Computer]" title="" src="graemlins/comp10.gif" />

You did well to save this little gem from auto prune.
I hadn't spotted it before, there is so much to read on the site...

I can relate so well to it, I have spent many hours in front of the computer screen waiting for inspiration to come.

She seems to never come at the most appropriate moments ...no, she always pops up when we have no pen or paper or when the computer is not turn on. I guess it's just to keep us on our toes.
