No Angels Have Halos

Post by nrip4life » Tue May 06, 2008 6:27 pm

i thought i knew this one
or that one
because they were so
enthusiastic to tell of their self
i soon realized was never them
i looked into the past
only to find lies
i let trust blind me
all in vain all unreal in the end
wings of curiousity let me soar
only to find clouds of thunder
i took a few chances
and found nothing
but chances they secretly took
this one wanted excitment
this one wanted stimulation
this one wanted money
this one had low self- esteem
this one was abused
this one had it all
i looked her in the eyes
she lied to me again
in hopes she could find
what she lost
somewhere along the way...

i realy liked this, honestly, tfrom being one myself, this tells what we girls do, most of us always lie to ge our way, and if we dont get it, then we lie more.... sad, but oh so very true

I love that line. The symbolism in what you say is so true.

Good work
"A woman with the courage to step out into the unknown, risking temporary loneliness for a shot at lasting joy, is more than a "single." She's singular. Instead of defining herself by what she lacks - a relationship with a man - she defines herself by what she has: a relationship with God." ~from Dawn Eden's 'The Thrill of the Chaste'

black star shine- your honesty honestly amazes me

jgarrison- right one the bottom i bet you wouldnt be that open minded in person

mellen- nice to hear from ya i dont beleive believe weve met hi thanks for reading..

northstar- this one is exclusively from a male standpoint...in this regard i believe it is exclusively unique perspective meaning if a woman wrote it the entire perspective would be opposite ...thanks its always good to hear from you...

phoenix- thanks bro good to hear from you..

all in all this is my point men and woman are equal but equal in very different ways while one gives birth one stands in a world of intellectual confusion which can be just as painful in my personal case...lol anyways thanks for reading guys and gals..
