Rear-view Mirror

From time to time
I think of you...
my heart hurts
for what could have been.

But then again
it may not have been
the ideal that I imagine.

Yet still I hope
someday
that our hearts embrace
and share once again
the passion still reflected
in the rear-view mirror.
